https://nyshowplace.com/bijan-modern-brass-tree-wall-sculpture.html I bought this brass sculpture at a garage sale and it has been Garden Art for about 10 years...what the heck is going on? Is this site, this price, this piece, something that commands such attention??
I think it's kinda kitschy but people are buying all sorts of crap so why not! here's a bit of a bio on the guy: https://www.groovywares.com/articles.asp?id=132
I love all of them. I love trees. But, mine is exactly like the one in the link I posted OR the one on 1stdibs...I am just a little incredulous. terry? Your link is to ALL categories! I think I don't have time to locate what is relevant. I suppose I should go take it out of the dirt and clean it up?
I LOVE the tree ... but then, I love ALL trees. It hurts to see a perfectly lovely old tree get chopped down to make room for an ugly apartment building, that's what happened right across from me, a huge beautiful pine tree and a pretty orange leafed one too .. I actually cried as they came down piece by piece ... Joy.
I have that problem with US ebay links all the time. Also with links to US sites that don't sell to the EU or don't have EU rights, etc. I am sure it is vice versa sometimes. The www is not always worldwide. And there are also forum members from countries that have restrictions on internet content. Anyway, it would be helpful if the relevant information, photo and link were posted, so everyone knows what a post is about. It doesn't have to be an essay, often a few words suffice. (note to self: no essay! )
I guess I have never viewed ebay in that type of format, so I did not know how to navigate it, really. I am sure the information was in there somewhere! And I think I got the intended point which is look at what someone paid for it as opposed to what someone was asking for it. All in all, it still took me aback when I think of ALL "treasures" I feel I possess and realized that a seemingly expensive piece of art was stuck under my ivy trellis in the backyard.
