Please tell me about this old lamp

    Unfortunately I don't have the top piece that holds the wick. It looks like there may have been some numbers on the cross piece on the bottom but I can't make them out. Any thoughts on the value?

    Often called Gone With The Wind lamps . Id guess 1900,give or take,and the market for these,even complete,has bottomed out .

    If you have a good old fashioned hardware store, you may be able to find a burner. Most of them are universal. Take the lamp with you when you go.
    Screws right into to the top. You can see the threads.

    Milk glass lamps were made by many companies. Fostoria started out as a lamp company, so may be a place to look. But there were also many others.
