Hello, and suggestions please on this "coronet over an N". I bought it as an unknown at an auction quite a while back but it seems some German makers used similar marks (Carl Thieme, Potschappel). Also, it doesn't feel Italian and I know nothing about Capodimonte, so ... thanks for looking. P.s. I've just read an earlier Capo thread and gather this might be from anywhere. There's nothing like it I can see in Google Image searches, but maybe someone knows something.

Looking at the detail in the face and the folds of the fabric, to me it looks German.

Very similar to your mark. You may want to do a little more research here.

Thanks. She's actually prettier than I've photographed and is a very "hard", almost glassy porcelain. I was told Capo once by a dealer but will settle for "German, possibly Dresden". I've spent hours trawling sites and photos and now have all the symptoms of extreme and serious figurine envy
