Does anyone recognize this makers mark? It stands about 7" tall.

    Thank you!

It may be the mark of the hobbyist who painted it.

I think that looks a little better than hobbyist,Janet. Pretty vase, but I have no idea on that mark.

My guess so far is 19th century continental. Mark looks like a pomegranate (but perhaps a peach or apple instead) with bees.

The apple on the bottom likely covers the mark of the manufacturer of the porcelain. You might be able to see something by holding it up to a strong light. That's not really important. I think it's safe to say not factory decorated. Maybe a professional, maybe an amateur decorator. Very pretty. For dried flowers maybe? Or maybe originally had a glass liner?

If you enlarge the photo, the painting on the lower half looks pretty sloppy. Just my opinion. Many hobbyist china painters were and are very talented, but I don't think this is one of them.
