Oriental Black on White Tile?

    I believe this is a piece of tile this is on. Can anyone tell me what this type of artform would be called and help date it? Also I would love to know what it says.

    This is a porcelain plaque. They can have considerable value, even if modern, when painted by a famous hand. I can't make out the artist's name on yours, but I doubt it's anyone famous. These are actually quite common and sold mainly for decoration.

    According to the inscription, yours was made in Jingdezhen in 2002.
