SIG HELP CALDER/MIRO SPAWN? (I like it LOL)

Hi Everyone,

For a change I picked up something I can't identify (just like the last time) but I like it so I guess it doesn't matter. Small edition and dated 74. Edition of 75. Any guesses and TIA. I'm becoming the house of unidentifiable art.

 

I have no idea who/what, but I do like it and can see why you acquired it. There is a certain serenity to all of that movement and color. Very interesting...............

 

Many thanks. It's nice to have one's eye complimented. I just think it's really terrific and would love to know the artist but I seem to have quite the knack for falling for illegible sigs. I really have quite the collection! I just found this today and knew I had to give it a home.

 

The name looks like Ygal or Igal (Jewish) which could be spelled either way and be the same person and there's probably other spellings. I don't know if it's anyone special or not.

Thanks although I don't think I see that. It appears to be a longer name to me (illegibly written). Hopefully someone may figure it out. If not it just goes up with my other unknowns!

Many many thanks and kudos to anunderverkaufen and cxgirl. I did look at the links but didn't see him and gave up. Now I know it's Maoz. I found him earlier but only found his site of other artists. Now I know who I bought. You guys are a treasure!

 

The piece also seems pretty atypical of his work. I only found one other modernist print.
