I know nothing about jewelry but thought this looked special. Any thoughts? CollageMaker_20200330_222917964-01.jpeg

I'm going to jump in here where i probably shouldn't. I'm not a big Jewelry person.........That said...... I really like this (Bracelet? ). It looks like a Marcasite / Sapphire (not real) Art Deco costume piece with some age to it. From the middle picture the blue stones look like glass. Many times Marcasite jewelry is set in sterling. Look for other marks (.925) or have it tested. Marcasites have a habit of falling out of jewelry, so check carefully for missing stones.
I'm sure the Jewelry people will be along to correct me soon LOL. I will tag a couple people who may be able to help. @Hollyblue @Any Jewelry @Aquitaine . They will need more pictures as @clutteredcloset49 indicated. The whole piece and any othermarkings it may have, also a picture of the back of where the main stone is might be helpful. If you can decipher the <diamond> mark on the clasp, that would help also. Looks like Diamond files to me......but that doesn't make sense to me.

    I think I agree.
Don't think it's sterling now. No marks and I see what looks like rust on the clasp hinge.

Hmmmm another article in the 1893 New Haven Courier tells of a robbery attempt while his 12 year old son was minding the store. They hit him with sandbags and when he yelled they ran out. This is fun.

Looks like costume jewelry, the bead setting does not connect to the stones. The stones are single cut, probably glass and glued in.

So after cleaning and looking closer the stones seem to be secured in with a little scroll. Like I said I know nothing about jewelry lol. The "rust" looking stuff scrapes off. And the "diamonds" do have a nice shine to them. IMG_20200331_112331_resize_10.jpg

I see theirs says it is signed "Diamond Finish" and I can see by the surface of the glass that it is not diamond. It's pretty though not valuable in this condition.
