I'm not sure I would use the word "fake". Yes, sort of modeled after a fine piece, but it was always intended to be a costume, not to mislead.

Still a great Deco costume bracelet. You don't run into these too often.

That's an absolute classic early to mid-20s costume bracelet. If it came my way I'd have jumped on it too. The box is the right age to have come with it, but who knows. Providence was the epicenter for pieces of this type, and a ton of costume jewelry is still made there.
