Eathenware plate/dish

    Earthenware plate with battle scene/44 cm diameter.
    Two letters etched on the back,which i'm not sure what they stand for.. a cursive d and F?

    It was bought in an antique store in the 70's in Belgium.
    Every hint is welkom.

    Well, I think it may be a tray. There are some similarities with Victorian Greek revival style which was roughly mid to late 19thc. Not sure your item is British as the base doesn’t look British to me. Not sure, though.
