Any special name for these plastic beads?

Not bakelite. I'm very familiar w/bakelite and this isn't it. Some different kind of plastic with a faint seam.

I wonder if these were produced to possibly mimic spinach swirl bakelite? I believe the necklace to be vintage. I purchased it over 20 years ago at a garage sale as a vintage piece. Just moving some storage items out and wondering whether to list or donate.

Any key-words for this kind of plastic? It also has swirls that mimic aventurine, a bit of glittering gold here and there in the plastic.

Piece doesn't seem terribly high end, but have to say I'm a bit stumped as to what to call it to view comparables.

Whatever they end up to be, I'd definitely list them, especially if on Etsy or a similar venue where young/young-ish shoppers are. You can call it just "vintage plastic, I believe it's acrylic' (or ??)" or something similar. That marbled finish is popular nowadays, still

 

I've several necklaces made with those - 50s and 60s vintage, many of them German.
