What kind of dish is this?

    This is a random little dish we found in some of my Mother-in-Law's stuff. I'm curious about whether it was just for decoration, or did it have a specific use for serving? And, any info on the maker, based on this mark on the bottom? Unfortunately it wasn't stamped very well, it's pretty blury......

    I think it's Leuchtenburg, Germany.

    It looks like a small relish for pickles or olives. It's a fairly common shape found in patterns from lots of china makers. But people now would likely use to hold small "stuff".
