Featured I found two interesting paintings in a charityshop - help?

    Second painting has an amazing resemblance to the works of Frederick Haucke...
    Just an observation there -- no help at all in identifying the artist...

    I also don't really like the second one. I was hoping to sell the second one for the price which I paid for both of them. ~I like free things :)
    it does indeed come close to Europa & the Bull.

    I like the first one, too. There is a Scottish artist named Moy Mackay who uses bright colors in her paintings. The signatures that I can see in a few do look different from these.

    She graduated from art school in 1989, so the 1991 date is not out of the question. But also, I think her paintings now use less defined lines than this one does. So, probably not the same artist but I'm including a link to her gallery.
