Please help with the ID of a pottery vase

    Hello all and happy holidays. We found this very large (about 2.25 Ft tall) pottery vase. it does have a mark on the bottom, but I have not been able to make out the maker. I would so appreciate any help with the id of this vase. It is in really great condition. Thank you.

    Doulton Lambeth England, I think.

    Yes, it does look like Doulton Lambeth:

    It also looks like the vase was modeled after an elephant's foot.

    Late 19th C mark. When I have a brain again, I'll look up that decorator's mark - it's an assistant, because it's lower case letters. Any sign of a hand scratched mark as well? The numbers mean it's a mass production item. The decor was done with real leaves, impressed into wet clay, which then burned away in the kiln.

    Not massive value here, as it's not a main decorator, and the greens are less sought after, but I'm very fond of Doulton Lambeth. London is literally built by them, including our sewers, plumbing and railways.
