    Hi,
I had a Fostoria cake stand that the top came off the base. I was out of krazy glue so I used Sally Hanson's clear nail repair polish. It has been 14 years and the base has not come loose as of yet.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

OK, last post on this one. The owner of the repair shop called me again today and had forgotten our phone conversation of 3 days ago (was going through his message again.) However, he described the piece exactly, and said Daum typically used an inexpensive adhesive (I think he said deteriorates with UV light) and this "come apart" wasn't uncommon. He uses a 100 year guaranteed adhesive. Well, that answered my question...myself, this bear, even this planet won't all see another 100 years, so we'll make this a DIY. Thanks for all the suggestions for products. I'm sure I'll love my <$10 investment.

Just an update that I ordered the product you mentioned (very $ reasonable) and I gathered several repair pieces. So pleased with the result! Bear is secure on its glacier. The only two drawbacks are that you have to be very accurate since the two compounds are mixed according to weight, and that seven day drying time. Minor issues and love the result! It took CV19 boredom to get the project started. Thanks so much!

the logo on the sticker looks 1970s to me.
after the re-start with new artists some models were avilable for one to two years only and sometimes only available in their shop on Place Stanislas.
