Pink Powder Box With Birds

I would love to know who might have made this and is it a Powder Box? Please forgive the poor pics. Length is 5" Width is 2 1/2" it stands
2" tall.

 

Powder boxes were generally round. This is probably a trinket box.

1920-30? Maybe 1940 but I wouldn't think any later than that.

 

For some reason this is saying Europe/UK vs US made

 

That bottom treatment I've seen in green, but not pink. The little scrolls and birds look late 1920s if you imagine a lot of the artwork from that time frame.
