Cast Iron What?

Cast iron piece, perhaps a representation of Bacchus? My first thought was bottle opener, but the opening below the chin is to small. Has a hole at the top, so this is meant to be on a wall. measures 8 3/8" tall and is 4 1/8" wide.

perhaps a door knocker sans the knocker ring???

He does look like Bacchus and doesn't look very old, not a huge amount of rust back there..? Probably just an ornament.

thanks for the replies
