Large Neodymium vase w/ applied handles - maker?

    This vase was on a shelf lot I bought at last week's auction. I didn't buy it for this piece so I really didn't pay it much attention. I was surprised when I went to take it out of the box & it was purple.

    It is 9 1/2" tall & is 6" across the top. The handles are applied & are strictly decorative as they are fixed in place. The bottom looks like a ground & polished pontil.

    I looked around on line & saw nothing even close to this piece. Has anyone got any ideas?
