Elaborate framed 3-D Carving - Any information?

    We just got five of these in a local estate sale. Don't think they are really old, but I wonder if anyone can shed any more light on their origin, etc. Thanks so much! ... Dave

    Do they fit together,like a theme? Im just wondering if they were a panel that was cut up.

    I'm not sure, but a good question. The others are still wrapped from the sale and I haven't seen them. I will follow up tomorrow.

    Lovely. They look like something that has been removed from a piece of furniture, a chest, a bed, a cabinet for instance.

    An internet search for "antique," "Chinese," "carved," "wood panel" will bring up similar examples.

    They may be part of a theme -- not confirmed yet. My colleague will check when he can get the others unwrapped, but thinks there is a good chance that is the case.
