Silver Malaysian Plate

I cannot find a hallmark except for this applied stamped circular thing, that says SHARIKAT TABA MALAYSIA but I cannot find info on that mark. It tests for silver. I understand that since it says Malaysia it has to be later than 1963? Is this a correct assumption? Around the outside are medallions representing the states. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

 

It may be a commemorative piece made around the time of the creation of Malaysia. If there is a medallion for Singapore it predates 1965

 

no Singapore on there.

 

Found that maker's mark on only one other item, a small jewelry box in a Portuguese auction catalog from earlier this year, they described it as silver with a question mark and as showing use, but little else. Similar items seem to sell fairly well, not sure I'd worry about the maker...
