Refinishing Tips/Advice help please

I painted with chalk paint and I used this for the primer.

 

Here’s one of the pieces. What do you guys think? Critiques?

 

I am not sure why there are streaks - Could be the combo of the primer and chalk paint perhaps. Let us see it if you end of glazing! I know how much work this stuff is! I like the blue on the blue and white - not clear on the white - are you going to paint that blue as well? Very pretty blue color!

I put antique wax on the white part that’s why it is streaky.

 

This question is for the nightstand. I am applying the topcoat Minwax Polycrylic and for some reason I see so much dust when applying!!! I don’t have any fans on or windows open and I wipe it down with a tack cloth before applying. It drives me crazy! I end up sanding, repainting, sanding and reapplying the topcoat, it’s insane!

Besure NOT to stir the Polycrylic and when the first coat dries do not use sandpaper that is what causes the problem. I use torn brown paper bags works like 1000 grit sandpaper. Then a another coat, the bags and recoat. Tiny air bubbles will occur if the Polycrylic is shaken or stirred.
