Hoping someone can point me in the right direction (no pun intended) I have a flint/stone arrowhead in a collection of Chinese arrowheads .Its a dark brown colour and is 64mm in length by 15mm at its widest that’s all I know about it. 1EC9BCDD-F31F-41B8-9198-C59D55FBF797.jpeg

I agree with @terry5732. It looks ground (or cast if fake), not knapped as you'd expect in a point made of flint, obsidian, etc.

Maybe cast metal? Did you test it with a magnet?

I've seen a somewhat similar item, apparently made of ground slate, in an ebay listing. (One of those where the seller has a grouped photo of other artifacts from other of his auctions, not the item actually being sold). His items are mostly sold as "Eskimo/Inuit/Bering sea."
This suggests to me that Brubaker's item has not yet been entirely identified, perhaps....in other words, I have no definite opinion, other than it does not look to me like a normal knapped arrowhead, and the exact origin and cultural association are unknown.

Hi I do have one of the above bronze arrowheads and some unusual iron ones that are quite long .I also have Chinese crossbow triggers and parts of a chariot (caps and pins) .A mixture of artefacts , there’s bone and iron and bronze arrow points so this was amongst them.Thank you for looking and commenting it’s very much appreciated .This collection has been in private hands around 30 years so the items haven’t been around. Not the easiest to research stuff kept under lock and key for so long .

Hope this close up is good enough to see the stone better.
