Please help me on this Vintage panel

I found this in an Estate sale. I am not sue about the age and value. Could anyone help me? Thanks!

 

First impression: a 1960s/70s decorative item (would've gone well with the Brutalist decor of the time)... but wait for other opinions.

 

That's very interesting. I would guess it's mid-20th century, but the image looks pre-Raphaelite. Could be a decoratively printed cloth that a home crafter turned into a banner.

 

Pre-Raphaelite was my immediate thought too, with a touch of tarot card & the Unicorn Tapestries. But Heaven help us, it looks like Ponytail Girl on a palfrey & holding a globe.



Design looks printed on fabric & stitching outlines added to give impression of being made with sewn on pieces. Late 60s - 70s would be my best guess.

 

Is there writing cross the bottom? Looks like a title or caption.

 

That looks printed as opposed to woven... I would agree with the 20th century; looks like someone got a printed tapestry and then quilted it onto a backing to be hung.

 

I think it's modern too -- 1960ish to my eye -- because of the simplicity of the stitching. Something older would be more elaborately done.
