Is this the actual product, or the plate to make the product?

It is fuzzy around the brown edges, but its not matting. Thats why I was wondering if this is the plate to make a print. Tapping the material with a fingernail, feels like tin, and is for sure not paper or resin based.

Btw, thank you all for your responses. I gather this isnt going to be my retirement check, but I do very much appreciate all the clues yall are giving to help me identify the product. Truly, yall are great.

I think it is 16 as in 2016. Someone who was still living in the 70s maybe? We all know people like that.:playful:
Picasso's 'Don Quixote' was made in 1955, this is one of the many items based on that.

Just to refresh everyone's memory:) this is the original Picasso Don Quixote:

I understand and it was made on the tin as a finished piece of art “after Picasso”.

Decorative piece after a very famous image and probably 70s.

Wonderful, StarCastle, so it is T. Arga and 76.
Your reply got caught up in your quote of my reply, that happens sometimes. But people can click to expand it, and then they can read your appreciation of Antiquers as well.:)

Would you post the other example of his work that you found? We'd all be interested to see.

Found on worthpoint. Value confirmed as just "decorative". But, I still find it to be a neat looking piece.

Would you post the link? All I'm getting are Porsches.

Ah! Found it! And I continue to disagree. Think it's a recent mass-produced souvenir decorative painting from Spain.

I am not generally a Porsche fan, but to be frank I would rather have a Porsche Targa than this. No offense, StarCastle

I suspect most people would rather have a Porsche Targa than most things!

It is a souvenir, no doubt about that.
