What color would you call these (faux) pearls?

    I was thinking mulberry, but they're an odd reddish brownish purple with blue highlights; they remind me of nothing so much as sapphiret glass ... but this ain't that. They're vintage for sure and definitely faux.

    Cranberry or wine they're not. Puce looks about right. Not sure how good a search term it would be though.

    Too blue for a currant. I may be stuck with berry ... puce is a little too close to reverse eating :vomit::vomit: for comfort.
