Featured Sterling Bracelet/Necklace With Blue/Green Sparkly Inserts....What Are These??

Any help appreciated.

 

Sterling and lab/manmade opal. Age...1990s or early 2000s, best guess. I don't think they're Native American, more like Thai or something.

I love lab opals, so it wasn't hard. Any marks on the back would help pin them down further.

 

Lab opals are also called Gilson opals.

 

I just learned something new today, and it's still very early in the a.m.

Not all lab opals are/were made by Gilson; it's a French company. A lot of the good ones are. I think they've stopped making them.

 

I think they've stopped too, but others are still using the technique and calling them Gilson opals. It has become more than just a company name. I thought I had saved the webpage with that information, but I can't find it now.
