Hi - new here

    Hello everyone.

    I will start by saying thank you for having me here.
    I'm very much an amateur at this. I do like old stuff and I'm always looking around in the thrift stores and antique shops.

    I have a bit of a collection of drums (kit drums - sets/snares/orphaned toms etc.). I always like to know the background/history, the year and where stuff was made and sometimes even what it is I've found.

    Right now I have a glass bowl with a heavy - looks to be - brass base that I would like to know about.

    I'll leave here now and maybe post a few photos of my item elsewhere on the site once I look around a bit.

    when you do get around to posting pictures, LARGE is the size to choose.
