Hessel Studios Candlestick, clean verdigris?

    Thrift purchase. The "H" was worn off so they probably couldn't find any "essel" candlesticks when researching - lucky for me.

    Stamped and signed so I know exactly what this is, but was wondering if I should try to clean or polish off the verdigris on the top, see 2nd photo. (If so, how best to do it?) Thanks.

    If you want to keep it for yourself do what you want with it. If you are going to sell it. leave it alone.

    Planning on selling it. Actually it occurs to me I didn't even try to wipe it with a damp cloth prior to taking the photos. Just got it this morning. Might do that at least.
