Chinese Cylinder (or Hat Stand) Vase - Republic or PRC ?

    Hello !

    Earlier this year I acquired a Chinese cylinder vase (or hat stand, as some collectors say), as per the attached pics.

    I would appreciate the opinion of any collectors/experts out there who wish to give their opinion as to the age of the item. I assumed it to be late Republic period, although someone suggested that it might even be early PRC.

    What do you guys think ?

    I think vase rather than hat stand (no vents) but with late pieces who knows. Faces do not look republic period to me so I think PRC is more likely.

    Umbrella stand, not hat stand.
