Please help me! Cleaning out our old acreage and my Dad collected old blow torches in the 70's and 80's. We are in West Central Iowa. I live an hour away and have no place to store them. Is anyone interested? I can't bare to just throw them in the dumpster!

Take the time to do a little research, then either try your local facebook page, garage sale them, or ask a dealer out to the house. Dealer isn't going to give you very much.

Most are $5 to $15 dollar items.

At a minimum you should should have scrap brass value.

If u can get me a photo, I might have interest if they look usable. I’m not interested in the gasoline type that has a brass canister with handle and pump. If oxy-acetylene type. Might be interested.

    lloyd249 it's not hoarding if it's valuable

i'm a second year welder, and a pipeline welders helper for 10 years welding stuff is expensive to buy new , and old used stuff can be dangerous to use . some can be rebuilt and saftied for use
    post some pics

I asked for photos back on Apr. 23 for same reason, no reply, so I guess the poster is gone. I’m still guessing they are the pump-can gasoline blow torches, not oxy torches. The gasoline types are considered collectibles, the oxy types are rarely collected by collectors.

Sorry everyone I didn’t see the responses in April! The number of them was overwhelming for everyone so I bartered with our dumpster people. They finally found a new home!

Thx but u never even told us whether they were gasoline pump type or oxy-acetelyne. The latter would have gotten u some offers here.

There were lots of soldering irons too and they were at least 50 years old with pumps on the side or in the handle. Tried adding a pic but not smart enough to figure it out. That old would they be gasoline?
