Heavy Glass Piece

Was wondering what this glass is, a candle holder or what. No markings on it and the bottom I suppose is very smooth and clear.

The style is called sommerso, which I believe means "submerged". It could be from Murano, or it could be new Asian. Fifth Avenue Crystal (import company) sells quite a few pieces in this style, all made in China.

So it could be a bottle or something right ?

 

Sure - could be a bottle. If the inside of the neck hole is ground / rough, it is probably missing a stopper.

 

The clarity and color appears to be very good.
I vote Murano over China.

I've had these. It did indeed have a stopper, despite the fact that there's no ground area. Modern giftware, very well done and yes, Chinese. Stoppers are tall and clear glass.
