Help with satsuma vase

    Can anybody help me identify this satsuma vase

    Any help regarding age, maker, style would be a great help

    There is a hole in the base, presumably intentional ?

    Hi,
    Someone had a lamp and decided to have a vase instead. Been there done that.

    If there was a mark, it would've been where the hole is. Oh well. Middle third of 29th c perhaps? Middling quality: painting not that crisp and the gilding isn't hand-done but an over-transfer. But would make a nice lamp! :shame:
