Please help me identify this furniture marking!

    Could you post a photo of the whole item in case that helps someone recognize it? It also could be a match mark, letter C meets letter C at the arrow. That sort of thing.

    It might have something to do with WW2 Canadian Military items that were marked similarly.

    @say_it_slowly - I will take a picture of the dresser, but unfortunately my husband sanded it down to prep it for painting. I didnt notice the markings until after he had done this. I have the original knobs, but they have also been taken off for painting purposes.

    @Houseful - thank you so much! This definitely looks like the same symbol and would make sense since I bought the dresser in Canada. I feel like the "0" in the one picture may indicate a style number?? The symbol itself appears on the dresser 4 or 5 times in different places.

    Hi Lindsay. If you post pics of the whole item it really helps to identify the era something came from, plus we like to see pieces of furniture:)
