Do you mean chipboard (spaanplaat)? Surely a painting on softboard wouldn't survive this long, you can cause serious damage with just your fingernail.
Vervolg no 12 (continuation nr 12) is intriguing.

Thanks but can't find anything there also . What would you call the style and what do you make off the compositions ?

They are both very 60s, but I don't know what you'd call them, other than 60's abstract paintings.
The one on the left reminds me a bit of Cobra, but they had a more naive figurative style with very bright colours.

Here in the States we call that beaverboard and it was used as a substrate for painting some. Pretty much went out of use in the 50s here.

to my eye they both look like they were influenced by Chagall....from his Jerusalem series ......but came out much more abstract.....

In art class we had to paint in different styles, including that of the one on the left. The teacher called it cloisonnism, because every colour had a different 'cloison' or compartment. But true cloisonnism is more figurative, it is part of post-impressionism. Which probably influenced Chagall as well.
