Grecian Style Vases

Hi all! Picked up these two grecian ceramic vases yesterday and I'm wondering how old they might be/who made them. They are unmarked, roughly 6 or 7 inches in height. I thought the black was dirt and the blue was paint, but I think the black may also be paint as well. Not sure if the paint is original to the pieces. Each has a different design. The rings are free moving.

Also at the shop was a similar vase, but it was much larger and brown, with a different pattern to these two. I didn't check for a mark but I will when I go back.

I'm not positive, but I believe these are imported decorator items and not too old.

 

Looks like some numbers showing, but not very definitive....I turned your image sideways and contrasted it more.....also doesn't help much....

 

My goodness you have good eyes, I can just barely make it out but I see what you're saying.

 

I agree, decorator's vases. The ones we get here in the Netherlands are often made in North Africa. I imagine it would be the same in France, with the colonial connection and closer proximity.
