Bowl from Romania? Help please...

Hoping someone can help identify this beautiful bowl I found in a thrift store. There was a sticker on the inside hand written “Romania”. With mark 179 on bottom and small gold mark. I can’t seem to find any info on-line. Any help greatly appreciated.
