    Hi all,

I'm looking for help identifying this hutch I have. I didn't purchase it and am trying to figure out where it came from.

You would be better off posting pics directly here. Lots of people don't trust clicking on links.

    Welcome to the board.

I think your cabinet dates to late 1800s early 1900s.

Can you show a picture of the drawer construction. Where the front of the drawer meets the side piece.

I'd say late Victorian/Edwardian, mahogany, ca.1900-1910. Very pretty!

I am going to differ. I am getting a modern, Made in Indonesia vibe from this. Certainly in an old style but the all-mahogany sloppy execution gives me pause.

Actually, you could be right. The reason I say so, however, is because the upper portion of the piece appears to have proportions that are too trad/modern and mid 20th-century looking.

Good use of Edwardian hardware and decorative forms in the lower half. A look at the back would help.
