Old? Hand Blown Vase

I guess the painting is not original.

    Don't think it's old. I believe somebody got bored and took black paint over the glass and made a fun design with it.

    I think it's old. I've seen similar enamelling on 19th C Spanish and German glass. Sadly, it's of almost no value with that break.

    I have also seen it on Austrian and Hungarian glass, both antique and more recent.

    I think it is old but the art work while nice is not of the top decorators. It would look great at the back of the shelf.

    The look of the repair could certainly be improved upon. I rather like it.

    Also, there is a pontil scar on the bottom opening of the hollow stem. Have you seen that before?
    I think I’ll strip the paint, good idea?

    Any time I see that thick,bubble filled glass I think Mexico .
