Hi, I recently inherited a rather large swath of antiques, and am having trouble identifying what this is. I know that it is brass and glass, with no particular mark of who manufactured it or when.

    Any help would be appreciated

Looks cobbled together from bits and pieces for decorative value. I don't doubt that some parts have some age, but it just looks decorative, like from a home store, to me.

Is that a wooden cork above the top plate above the part where you think a candle could go? @Scorpius

No, they look/feel like they are either glazed ceramic or stone.

Thanks, please check back for the opinions of other members. I've just never seen pieces quite like this - in antiquity, but rather in decorative home shops.

Does it look like it could be fixed to a wall so it could dangle like a sconce?

Way too small, it’s only about 8” at its highest.
