I went to a local antique mall Monday. They really did a beautiful job with it when they were closed, it looks like a museum it is so well laid out and displayed.

Well, it is a challenge to find any bargains there, the owner and other dealers go over everything that comes in with a fine tooth comb.

But they missed this unmarked sterling Navajo pillow necklace that was sold as costume for $10

I have been wanting a mosiac cross, I saw one at my flea market for $30, this will do for $8

And I have been wanting this since the mall closed down in March due to Covid-19. I debated spending the money, but when I couldn't find it in the dealer's case, I was so disappointed. I was looking in the wrong case. 14k angel brooch, I have one similar in sterling.

I went out yesterday, need to photograph some more. Not anything spectacular....seems a lot is going on this coming weekend, and I can't decide where to go first to go hunting.

Last weekend's stuff, at least the pieces worth photographing. I found some vintage Sony electronics - a Watchman, sport Walkman etc too, and some envelopes.

What I did find... A glass apple, marked Tiffany & Co, a brass Buddha head, a brass modern letter opener, CBS Television pens, a Waterford ornament, souvenir ornament from a local museum, a sterling and CZ cross of no particular note and.... a signed Baccarat crystal ruler. It's engraved for some corporate event in 1989 and has a chip on one end, but the new ones retail at $500 and this was $2. I wasn't arguing. The lady/whatever is a very nicely carved Alaska souvenir.

I have that same Tiffany apple! Mine was from Goodwill, I think it was $1.99, I've had it for several years now. The price sticker was right over the Tiffany mark....!

@Marko That sterling silver necklace is stunning! I'm shocked that they could have skipped over that.

What is the lidded jar (?) with blue & white horizontal stripes & something written on it. I like the simplicity.

According to Taupou she's a Navajo souvenir piece. I still like the carving on it though.
