Need Help With a Planter....Old, I Think?

Hey all. This belongs to a friend and I know nothing about this stuff. Curious about Who, Where and When? Thanks in advance...

 

I think it's Julius Dressler of Biela (currently Bela in the Czech Republic), 1st couple decades of the 1900s. Looks big enough to be a jardiniere.

 

Perhaps would have had a stand to match.

 

Thank you, Bob. That timeline fits all the rest of the stuff (China, silver..etc.) that now resides in my shed until she can come back to retrieve it all. Her Dad passed away over a week ago and she lives in Seattle - couldn't take it all on the plane home.

I would call it a Jardiniere, but didn't want to get into a debate about the term. - mouth about 9", and just about 8" tall.

Dp you have a google reference I can pass onto her? Note: there is a huge chip out of the top lip and at least a couple of cracks. The inside looks pretty clear it was used as a planter.

 

It might be on the Porcelain Marks and More site. I haven't checked.

He made some gorgeous items.

 

Similar.now I want to find some of these pieces.
