Does anyone know who's work this is? It's about 5 ft tall and very heavy. It's gorgeous!

    Appears to be Chinoiserie.

Agree, Chinoiserie, on an Indo-Persian inspired frame. A generally Orientalist mirror. From a time when anything and everything 'Oriental' was fashionable. I love it too. For some reason I am in a time warp, just about everything and certainly everyone in our household is some 'Oriental' mix.

Yes, the owner loved the Asian furniture. She had a hutch, silk 3 panel pictures and beautiful embroidered rondels that are perfectly set in glass with brushed gold frames. Do you still have your "Oriental" things?

Yes I do, even my Oriental dear old thing (husband;)).
