Wooden trencher - old or repro?

    This trencher measures about 12" wide and 20" long. It looks old to me but WDIK? A friend pointed out, without seeing it or a photo of it, that there are very convincing repros coming out of India these days. What do you think?

    Dendrochronological analysis is your only hope.

    Failing that, I'd say modernish because of the relatively sharp edges.

    My guess would be a 50s repro from the last time Colonial style was hot. It doesn't look like a new repro, more like something that held fruit on someone's kitchen counter.

    Throw some Christmas balls in it? I'd wait for an expert opinion; mine's worth about what you paid for it.
