Looks kinda like a bunsen burner but it has fitting for a glass shade of some sort. There is a patent number of 182952 on it and if that’s English then it can’t be older than 1923. Suggestions welcome.

Looks like an ornate fitting to hold a chimney, so think Bunsen burner is out.

    This could be it:

    https://patents.google.com/patent/GB182952A/en

"Globe and shade galleries.-A gallery 34, preferably made of sheet metal, is provided with a flange 35 for securing upon a burner tube 8 by forcing or pressing."

The Gallery is the piece that would hold the chimney. Although, I do not see a compression type fitting by the gallery, but do see an area on that tube that's lighter in color that may have had a fitting on it.

This thing looks pieced together to me.

Saw that but wasn't sure if that was it. I thought the patent referred to the adjustable burner but maybe I was wrong.
It comes apart in two pieces that screw together. The patent is on the "Gallery" so that would make sense now I know what a gallery is.
