Lochness ? Is this is a novice done piece? Anyone recognize anything?

I bought it thinking it was a dragon and now I am thinking he/she is Nessy What are your opinions on what it might be? The blue on the bottom is some foamy thing that was crudely cut and glued in place

Is it new? Is it just a student or home piece? Any thoughts/opinions welcome

 

Peel that felt off. Might be a signature under there. My 1st thought was italian ,but Im often wrong.

 

I'm thinking Puff the Magic Dragon.

This is Nessie, more like a seasnake:

 

Glass like this was often on top of TVs ,the old floor cabinets. Based on the felt I think this is a studio piece.

 

Cool so it is a dragon. The nip in his ear reveals he is a chalky white material Could this be pottery?

 

It wasn’t felt. It was some newer rubberized or stretchy material.

 

I thought it was pottery ? I keep coming back and looking at this,something keeps niggling at me like Ive seen stuff like this before. Hippocampus ! Thats the word Ive been trying to recall !

I keep wanting to call this a sea horse though if you google sea horse you only get the fishy one.

(I have been to Lochness and this doesn't look like the Nessie I saw. The water is so dark it's no wonder it spawns tales.)
