    Hi ,
I wondered if anyone had advice on a porcelain monk figurine I inherited from my grandmother years ago. It’s extremely detailed in his face / no markings on bottom except 4 over 404 and the black letter y
I tried uploading a picture but it failed
I took it to an antique appraisal show at a local museum and the man was extremely rude and porcelain and ceramics were not his thing .
I am at a loss . No one seems to know much

Welcome, grace43. Are you trying to load pix from a phone & getting message that files are too large?

I feel like Goldilocks: first picture was too big; second picture is too small (& incomplete); third - sixth pix need to show full figure, all sides, including underside.

There are a couple of these on worthpoint; maybe someone will look up the selling prices for you, but I have no doubt it's not worth paying an appraiser.

Looks like he's in the 'drunk monk' tradition. I'm not one of the 'potties', our ceramics people. When they see 'porcelain', they'll be along. We're spread out over the globe so sometimes you have to be a little patient before the knowledgeable folks weigh in.
You're learning. You may not have the best tools, but you're getting good clear pix. An appraiser would cost money, we just put you through some guidance if you need it (most newbies do).

Can you get the photo of the front to be the same size as the ones that have been added?
