coral or not?

I didn't buy these because, despite ALL THE INFORMATION I'VE SEEN HERE, I still couldn't tell if these are plastic or coral... I wasn't hot to spend my two bucks on plastic. I don't think the ear wires are sterling, they were not tarnished at all, no idea if I could wear them. The tiny bits on top may be coral? What are the brown seed looking beads that, again, don't match the rest of the piece very well?

 

There is a "boop" near the bottom seed bead on one, no idea..

 

i don't see coral.......

Thanks, Bluumz, I don't know what it is if not coral, maybe some dyed stone. It wasn't plastic or glass. Looks like chips of pink quartz at the top? Could it be dyed quartz? It has a BOOP on the base of one - that made me think it was plastic at first, but when I clicked it to my teeth, I thought not..
