Plate with letter 'A' makers mark in a diamond

Hello everyone! I was looking for a little help with this. It's a really heavy plate weighing 1.2kg! I have trawled many makers mark sites and i'm no further forward in identifying the maker. Any ideas on date would be lovely too.

I can't help with a maker, but I just wanted to say that it is a very pretty plate. I love the colors in the plate's decoration.

 

Oh thank you! It's normally sat with a stack of peaches in it and it looks rather glorious

You would be correct.

Most of the plates I have personally seen (or owned) with those holes were from Italy. Doesn't mean no other country did that, just what little I have observed.
