Pewter Sugar Bowl Faint Partial Mark Help ID

This interesting bowl is approximately 2 3/4" tall,
all I see is er and ine

I see INE TER so I'm guessing it might be like this saying GENUINE PEWTER.

"Genuine" in this case is not the maker's name, if that is what you were hoping/looking for.

 

There MIGHT be something here on the side of the pitcher, but there's not too much to see, unless you can get a better image.......

Thanks for a lifeline on this sugar bowl, that you call a jug. Is that an English term for a sugar bowl? I did not see much in these new images, but I have very little knowledge of pewter markings I tried to get some clearer images. I really like this bowl jug for some reason, it is so simple and old looking and a bit battered.

 

In this case jug would be for the creamer/pitcher rather than the bowl.

 

It’s lovely. I like the shape of it and can picture it filled with flowers as a vase.
