So happy to hear it, Nancy. I always worry about our forum members when I hear about hurricanes and other potentially harmful situations.

Congratulations @Nancy Neal for coming through a hurricane relatively unscathed. You were very fortunate as these go. As a Florida resident since 2003 I have seen my share, tornadoes too. The worst, and not as bad for us as it could have been, was IRMA. I published a brief summary of our experience on the jewelry forum Jewelcollect at the time, also repeated on a personal webpage because so many asked us about it:
    Hurricane Irma and Us
Keeping my fingers crossed for HI next...

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

It's great to hear that all is well with you, @Nancy Neal . And it sounds like others in your town experienced more flooding... But no loss of life, I hope.

Thank you all, Yes there has been a lot of flooding, but as I said I was so lucky, My guardian angel was definitely working overtime, Have a jammed door which I HAD had locked prior to storm and now it is jammed, am looking around this am for other damage, but if there is any it should be minor, Roofer coming during week to check shingles, Yard will be cleared up in a few days and debris and branches put on curbside, City is picking up by 3 times a week. so yes though it was so scary,I consider my self extremely lucky and fortunate, and know someone up there was looking out for me and no no loss of life that I have heard about.
