    Hello,

We inherited this wardrobe or armoire from my husband's family but have no idea of the age or provenance. Any help appreciated!

The inside is empty apart from the pictured hooks - no signs of ever having had shelving or rails.

    We're in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The hooks were for hanging your clothes on.

Would go more with a late 19th century date with that Eastlake hardware.

Edwardian English wardrobe. That hardware was common English fare for the period ad used right through the 20s/30s and 40s... and the triple hook swivels 360 degrees.
